PLAYER CONDUCT




A soccer league. Anyone is welcomed! Although, we do not require approval we stress having a friendly environment so it is important for players to be friendly, courtious, respectful, and patient (All of these qualities will be observed). We play for the love of the game and not to put down any other players in this league.




LEAGUE




This is a non-profit league. There are currently four teams in the league ( Which will be expanding to 6 Teams in the new season which begins around mid August). League staff is voulunteer. We do ask a registration fee of $50 it helps pay for the field; however, since we are mid-season (Only 5 weeks left as of March 8, 2010 the registration is only $15 dollars).




REFEREES




Because we have Referee's there is a $3 dollar fee to cover costs of referees per individual which will be given to team captains before match.




GAMES




We play every Sundays. Each game is played with 40 min halfs and a 5 min max break during half time. There are four team captains that help guide the team and aid the volunteer staff.




We play 11 vs 11. Most teams in the league have about 16 players because substitues are used.




RULES




11 vs 11 on field. Substitutes used. There is NO SLIDE TACKLING! If for any reason a player slide tackles it is an automatic yellow card! 40 minute halfs with a 5 min half-time break. Referee's present. All other Fifa rules apply in the league except for the SLIDE TACKLING (This helps protect players). Foul language is prohibited and discouraged. Yelling at others; although, not prohibited can only create a distastful experience so we would appreciate any criticism on a player's skill ability to a minimum.




EXTRA INFORMATION




Games useually commence at 2:30 PM and all matches by 6:05 PM are finished. So league opperates from 2:30-6:00 or from 3:00-6:00 again this is information will be given in better by the captain who will have all information a week prior to the match on Sunday. There is a schedule with weeks on what team plays who.




Please be advised that prior to the initiation of the first soccer match we all take part in prayer (Which is not forced upon anyone to take part in).














THE LEAGUE IS CURRENTLY IS SEARCH OF 4-6 players to fill in gaps in the rosters of three teams in the league. Most positional needs are defensive, midfield players. Entering Playoffs soon but in one interested in joining for next season feel free to contact me at cocoluisbear@aol.com Thanks!
